The reemergence of the east

The reemergence of the east over the past decade has unnerved the western think tanks like never before. The 5 century old contructs of imperialism are not bearing much fruit.

The advent of technology and spread of the universal ethos of life, liberty and pursuit of happiness have given rise of a spree of independent thinking and rooted political leaders who have resisted the innumerable temptations as well as threats of persecution in myriad ways.

The People's Republic of China had had been on its ascendance for over 3 decades now.

The most prominent member of the erstwhile USSR, Russia seems to be belligerent under the leadership of Vladimir Putin.

The world's largest democracy India is going to witness a definitive transformation under the nationalistic leader Narendra Damodardas Modi.

This strategic pivot of Russia, China and India would unveil a never seen axis of collaboration for the welfare and survival of the entire humanity. Post world war 2, it's probably for the first time that yet another axis of global power would have emerged in a 45 year long bi-polar and then a 25 year long unipolar world.

There would be an all out attempt to create tension and turmoil to desist the congregation of ties amongst these struggling but emerging nations of economic prowess. The biggest western arsenal stooped deep into their intellectual armour would have to be impregnated and defended against.

India, which has had one of the biggest contributions to world thought before the advent of theocratic regimes would have yet another relevant role to play.

Indian intellects of original thought would have to take on this challenge for the welfare and survival of the entire humanity.
